About Me

I'm a Software Engineer with a Ph.D. in Computer Science, specializing in blockchain infrastructure, distributed systems, and consensus protocols. I hold 7 patents and have published 6 academic papers in the field.

Blockchain Infrastructure

Building blockchain clients, consensus algorithms (HotStuff), and modular EVM-based systems. Deep experience with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and custom chain architectures.

Distributed Systems

Designing p2p networks, atomic swap protocols, and inter-operability layers. Research background in distributed ledger sharding.

Platform Engineering

Platform testing, automation, and reliability engineering. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and observability tooling.

Research & Patents

7 patents covering blockchain sharding, AI marketplaces, smart contract security, and IoT architectures. 6 peer-reviewed academic papers.

Background

Originally from Izmir, Turkey. B.S. in Computer Engineering from Ege University (GPA 3.66/4), followed by a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Insubria, Italy, awarded with distinction. My thesis focused on improving security and privacy of the Internet of Things with blockchain technology.

I've worked across IBM Research, multiple blockchain startups, and Coinbase -- always at the intersection of distributed systems and emerging technology. When I'm not coding, I'm exploring new places or tracking flight deals for my next trip.
